I enjoy using Sony VAIO VPC-EF44FX/BI Laptop in doing all of my job and business . I am impressed by the build quality, the features and the pricepoint. My model came with 1920 x 1080 screen, which gives me plenty of real estate for the multi-tasking required in my job. The quad processor lets me tackle any of the business tasks. I am not a gamer, but I suspect that the video memory might not be up to snuff for serious gamers. The only things, really, that differs between this and the Dell XPS are the video memory, lighted keyboard (this does not have one) and the price. I upped my RAM to 8 GB and upped the OS to windows 7 Ultimate and now I have a machine that will last me years. Enough rambling. Let see the features more details :

I have been trying Samsung Q430 laptop for two days now and I am very satisfied by it.
1. Light for its size. I had a Dell XPS M1330 before and this feels lighter than that even though its a 14 incher ! 2. Fast processor. The turbo boost on its Core i5 really makes it snappy for everyday work and also for photo and video editing. The new Office 2010 runs smoothly on it. Read the rest of this entry »

For the price Toshiba Satellite L655-S5158 is a great laptop. Toshiba Satellite L655-S5158 is replacing and older desktop that is close to death so I’m not picky. I like the number keypad but if you don’t like having that like some people then don’t buy a laptop with the number pad so you can’t complain. I can actually type without having to turn off the touch pad unlike other laptops I’ve used. The lock for the touch pad is below the space bar so it would be easy to turn off if you end up with problems typing. It’s also great to have the multi touch touch pad to zoom in and out. I can find the Read the rest of this entry »

Apple MacBook Pro MC374LL/A is a very satisfying purchase. Although the styling of this laptop, with the dark hinge and keyboard isn’t quite my cup of tea (and is a matter of taste), Apple MacBook Pro MC374LL/A is far and away the most solidly built. It feels like it would stop a bullet, and it probably could. It’s reassuring rigidity gives it a feeling of quality and sturdiness second to none. For someone who man handles his laptop all day every day, this is very Read the rest of this entry »

Acer AS5742Z-4685 is an amazing laptop. Screen is crystal clear and very bright. The top cover and spots where your wrist sit have a nice texture to them making fingerprints and smudges hard to see. The p6100 is a great budget processor. Acer AS5742Z-4685 beats down the similar price athlon II mobile processors and seems to be ahead of the old core 2′s in benchmarks. The Battery life seems to be about 3.2hours Read the rest of this entry »

Acer AS7741G-7017 is the best laptop I’ve owned. I’ve never owned an Acer before and my impression of them before was that they were cheap low end laptops that weren’t much to be proud of if you owned one. Well, this laptop is a textbook example of what one would call a “sleeper”. You would think it’s just a cheap no frills budget laptop by brand name (to be fair it does look cool and sleek in Read the rest of this entry »
