Acer Aspire TimelineX AS1830T-68U118 model still lacks a discrete graphics and without one falls short of larger i3/i5/i7 models in the same price point. If having a dedicated GMU is important you may want to consider a larger 13/14-inch screen with an i3/i5/i7/discrete graphics for the same money. Just got HP Pavilion dv6-3120us laptop. good price for all the features, expandable to 8g ram 2.6ghz dual core processor works great. has a cool little media quick launch button that starts up either hulu or netflix right away. the keyboard is a little off spacing wise but that could just be because im used to my toshiba that kicked the bucket. so far smooth. everyting started up great, streams movies to my tv though the hdmi. will let yall know if any problems arise. ohh a quick note that i think all the major laptop companies are changing their touch mouse thing. it takes a little getting used to but i didnt see much of any other option out there. there are no real buttons just one flat touch pad. i had to knock down the sensitivity on mine.

I ordered HP Pavilion dv6-3013nr laptop on Thursday and just in 1 day, it was delivered in a perfect condition. Didn’t have the chance to see every feature, but I can say that I loved HP Pavilion dv6-3013nr at first sight.. Looks so solid, not like some others giving you a feeling that they will break down if you don’t be very careful. Only problem for now seems to be the touch pad. I can say that its little bit sticky, hard to move the cursor precisely.. Also, left and right click buttons are really hard to press. Clicking means really clicking for this laptop !!! Don’t hesitate to buy, perfect item for its price. But make sure you order a nice mice too..

Now, after using the PC for a few days, I m happy to see that the touch pad buttons are getting easier to press. Finger print reader and Hp Simple Pass application that allows you to use your fingerprint instead of entering usernames and passwords works very well. Swipe your finger once and all the websites you enrolled in fingerprint system shows up. Swipe it once more, you are logged on in seconds. No Username No Password..

I absolutely love Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV5 laptop! I have owned it for about a month now, and never looked back or questioned my decision.
Let me start off by saying that I am an IT professional, so I not only buy equipment for myself and my family, I also influence purchasing decisions of hundreds at work, and work with equipment of every brand.
I researched laptops for about 2 months before I bought this item, but I had made my mind up after the first month – I was just shopping around for different versions after that. Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV5 is an absolutely GREAT value for the money. Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV5 laptop retails for 1299.00, and every other store I checked locally (Dallas, TX area), as well as several different online stores, were all more expensive. Amazon was (when I purchased this) about 150 dollars cheaper than average, and 50 dollars cheaper than the next cheapest.

Overall I am pleased with ASUS N61JQ-XV1 laptop. Everything was delivered as expected.
Fast processor.
All hardware worked out of the box.
Cooling is very good for an i7 processor and graphics card. Does not get hot at the keyboard or wrist rest at all. Gets a little warm at the vents, but not as much as other comparable laptops.
Warranty on Asus is better than most brands.
